Secret Spot reflects the quiet presence of hidden places along the San Diego coast—spaces discovered over time where one can step away from the everyday and reconnect with the ocean.

As a Deaf artist, I approach this work through visual language. Clean architectural forms rise against layered bands of sea and sky, creating a sense of balance, openness, and stillness. The simplified composition invites the eye to slow down, encouraging a moment of reflection rather than movement.
