This is based on my Deaf journey experience and maybe you do have the same experience as well. This happens often when I notify people that I'm Deaf and I always get three different approaches when the person comes to speak to me directly. First one is when a person becomes frozen and runs away. Second one is when a person speaks louder and louder. Third one is when a person becomes aware and willing to communicate at convenience. Did you have those similar experiences?
