CODA LOVE reflects the shared identity of Children of Deaf Adults, where connection to Deaf culture is carried through a deeply rooted “Deaf heart.”
The composition centers on a radiant heart that symbolizes this connection—present across all CODAs regardless of background, experience, or environment. The organic color field surrounding it suggests that this identity is natural and inherent, formed through lived experience within the Deaf world.
In contrast, the bright, luminous heart represents how that identity carries outward—visible, expressive, and present in every space CODAs move through. The interplay between grounded tones and vibrant color reflects the balance between internal belonging and outward expression.
Rather than defining a single narrative, CODA LOVE holds a universal presence—recognizing that while CODA experiences may differ, the connection to Deaf culture remains a constant.
Printed on aluminum, the surface enhances clarity, contrast, and color saturation, giving the work a luminous and contemporary presence.
This one-of-a-kind original artwork has been collected and is now part of a private collection. It will not be reproduced in this format.
