Sugar High captures a moment of childhood energy and imagination, centered on the vivid image of a bright red lollipop set against rhythmic bands of color. The horizontal stripes create a sense of motion, echoing the feeling of the world shifting and blurring in a moment of play.

Inspired by a personal memory at eight years old, this piece reflects how a simple experience can transform into something visually electric. As a Deaf artist, I translate that sensation through movement, contrast, and color, turning a fleeting moment into a structured visual language. The lollipop becomes more than an object; it represents curiosity, motion, and the spark of creativity found in everyday life.

The composition balances bold structure with expressive energy. The saturated red form draws immediate focus, while the layered stripes provide rhythm and depth, making the piece both dynamic and grounded. It is designed to anchor a space, bringing vibrancy and a sense of movement into a modern home or professional environment.

Material and Size

Fine art print produced as a 12 x 12 inch image on 16 x 16 inch museum quality fine art paper. Printed on 100 percent cotton acid free paper with a white border and produced to archival standards. Each print is signed by the artist.
