This August, I'm excited to share a collection of my framed San Diego coastal fine art prints at Bird Rock Coffee in La Jolla.

San Diego has long been a source of inspiration for my artwork. From the movement of the ocean and the rhythm of the surf to the changing light along the coastline, these everyday experiences continue to shape the way I create. As a Deaf artist and lifelong surfer, I experience the coast through visual observation, movement, color, and atmosphere. Those moments become the foundation of my work.

Rather than documenting specific locations, my artwork explores the feeling of being connected to San Diego's coastline. The energy before paddling into the ocean, the calm after a sunset, and the balance between movement and stillness all influence the compositions I create. Through bold color, simplified forms, and layered textures, each piece reflects a different experience of life along the coast.

Throughout August, Bird Rock Coffee will feature a selection of professionally framed fine art prints celebrating San Diego's coastal landscapes, surf culture, and vibrant atmosphere. The collection includes works inspired by the ocean, coastal architecture, changing light, and the places that make San Diego unique.

I especially enjoy exhibiting artwork in spaces where people naturally gather.
