Today, I release a new artwork titled Global Touch.

This piece marks 20 years since my first public video. At that time, I wasn’t thinking about audience or impact.  I was simply creating, sharing, and  connecting in a way that felt natural. What surprised me was not the video itself, but what happened after.  One moment shared locally began to reach people I had never met.  Over time, that experience changed how I understood connection. It was no longer limited by place. It could move, grow, and continue.

Global Touch comes from reflecting on that shift.

I began thinking about the difference between what is documented and what is lived. A video or a book can carry a message, but the real meaning happens through experience and storytelling. Both are necessary.  One captures. The other continues. 

The idea of “network” became central. Not just as technology, but as people, relationships, and shared understanding. Connection does not happen on its own. It is built, sustained, and passed on. This artwork is not about one moment. It is about what continues after that moment— how one moment can expand into something shared. Twenty years later, I see that connection is not fixed. It is still in motion.

Global Touch is my way of recognizing that.
