The Green Light Journey: Sculpting Community Through ASL

"No one moves forward alone." — A Visual Symphony of ASL and Community Symbolism.

The Green Light Journey: Sculpting Community Through ASL

In this performance, I explore the rhythmic and spatial beauty of American Sign Language (ASL) as a bridge between families, educators, and the community. By utilizing the vibrant symbolism of signal lights—green for action, yellow for reflection, and red for pause—the Green Light Journey visualizes the shared responsibility we have for the next generation.

"As an artist, I use the space around me to tell stories that often go unheard. The Green Light Journey is an invitation to pause, look at the signals we are sending to our children, and move forward together in a way that ensures no one is left behind."
