The coast is more than a destination. It is a way of seeing, moving, and living.

As both an artist and a surfer, I have spent years exploring San Diego's coastline. The ocean has shaped not only where I create but also how I see color, light, rhythm, and movement. These experiences become the foundation of my artwork.

The Coastal Collection brings together pieces inspired by the visual language of coastal life. Lifeguard towers, surfboards, palm trees, piers, coffee, ocean views, and modern architecture become symbols of moments many of us recognize, not because we visited a specific place, but because we remember how those places made us feel.

Rather than documenting the coast exactly as it appears, I simplify forms, layer bold color, and create compositions that capture its energy. Each artwork reflects a different part of the coastal experience, from quiet mornings before sunrise to afternoons spent by the water and the vibrant culture that surrounds it.
